Editor's Note

Inspired by Peranakan decorative art and Chinese symbolism, the fish — or “yu” (鱼) — represents abundance and prosperity. Small peony flowers embroidered within the fish symbolise beauty and good fortune, while the vibrant colours give the bag a cheerful, contemporary character.
